Good-sized units with a lovely balcony. Bonus point for central heating, a work desk, and television. Exceptionally nice location right by the Rhine promenade, Germany, and the restaurant, could not be better.

Absolutely charming hotel in a good and unbeatable location right next to the river. Good sized room overall, with a lovely balcony. Wonderful and absolutely superb breakfast with a huge variety of food, excellent staff. Location not far from the Rhine promenade;)))

The room at Hotel Rheinstein was amazing! I stayed in one with a view of the Rhine, and let me tell you, it was breathtaking. Waking up to the sight of the river flowing gently was so peaceful and relaxing. It made me feel like I was in a fairytale.
Personally, I found the heating in the room to be a bit too warm for my liking. But hey, that's just my preference.

Excellent location - close to the train station, kd dock and Drosselgasse. Hotel room was very basic but adequate.
The noise of freight trains passing by.

the location is very good. We've got Rhine-view room - nice, but a bit loud if to sleep with open window.
no air-conditioners-it might be a problem in hot summer, as it is very hard to sleep with open window. Breakfast buffet is very simple..

The room was recently renovated and very clean. The bathroom was modern and well-maintained. The hotel's location was perfect, right next to the river and close to the main attractions in town. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel had free parking and wifi, which was a bonus.
The noise from the trains passing by was quite loud, especially at night. It might be a good idea to bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

The staff were very helpful. The hotel is older and a bit dated, but it was very clean. We had a huge room on the top floor in the back. We didn't have a view of the Rhine river, but we also didn't have the noise from the train that runs between the hotel and the river. This was an excellent hotel for visiting the city and for taking a Rhine boat trip. The dock for the boat trip is directly across the street from the hotel. The breakfast was very adequate.
